Meet Jamie Shirey, FNP-BC

The care midlife deserves—from someone who understands it.

Jamie founded Midlifesy to give women and men a more attentive, current, whole-person way to understand the changes affecting energy, hormones, metabolism, and wellbeing.

Why Midlifesy exists

“I knew women deserved better—answers, not dismissal.”

When Jamie reached menopause, she was balancing a demanding career, raising five teenagers, and facing unexplained weight changes, exhaustion, and brain fog. The familiar advice to simply eat less, move more, or accept it as aging did not reflect the full picture.

With more than 25 years in healthcare, she understood that midlife concerns deserve time, context, and thoughtful evaluation. She created Midlifesy to bring hormones, metabolism, sleep, stress, and lifestyle into the same conversation.

A more complete approach

Current evidence.
Individual context.

Midlifesy is progressive without being prescriptive. Care is designed around your history, symptoms, laboratory findings, priorities, and goals—not a generic protocol.

01

Listen first

Your experience is part of the clinical picture. Appointments are designed to make room for your questions and your full story.

02

Look wider

Hormones, metabolism, sleep, stress, inflammation, lifestyle, and health history can be interconnected.

03

Personalize carefully

Recommendations may include hormone care, metabolic support, nutrition, supplements, or lifestyle strategies when appropriate.

04

Track what matters

Symptoms, biomarkers, progress, and ongoing follow-up help guide care over time.
